We have a special friend Sarah Rosborg (Artist) who has self started Kenyan charity Rafiki Mwema with Ann-Marie Tipper (Child Psychologist). For years they have tirelessly campaigned and fund-raised for the children and even rescued them on the ground in Kenya!

They are inspirational people and O.B. Designs wanted to do something meaningful to help so we got together and custom-designed a Toy Lion named Rafiki. Our aim with this special project is to fund the school.

We want to try and keep them as safe as possible and this school is imperative to their welfare.

Our soft toys meet EN71 1,2,3, ASTM and ASNZ toy standards for children under 36 months.

O. B. Designs is an established International children’s brand. It was born in Byron Bay, Australia in 2008 by founder, Kate Nicolson.

Inspired by the birth of my first daughter Evie, I wanted to create beautiful, eco-friendly and delightful products for children and families that make the world a better place!

Just like my children, O. B. Designs has grown but my passion is and always has been to create exceptional toys and nursery decor that are beautiful, eco-friendly, and ethically made.
